In recent hours, it was confirmed that the biopic of the singer and songwriter Linda Ronstadt will star Selena Gomez. This was announced through social networks and the official website of the 77-year-old woman’s manager.
Although details as to the director, other members of the cast, or even a distributor for the movie have not been revealed yet, the manager of Ronstadt, John Boylan, shared on his official website that the two great singers meet in the music legend’s house to “discuss the project and get to know each other“.

For her part, Selena Gomez made the rumors stronger when she uploaded a new photo on her Instagram Stories with the memoir book of Linda titled ‘Simple Dreams’. While the official account of Ronstadt reposted the news of the actress starring in her biopic with the phrase “It all started with a simple dream“.

Linda Ronstadt is an American singer who began her musical career in 1967 and stopped singing in 2006 due to her health condition. She won eleven Grammy Awards, three American Music Awards, and an Emmy, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
