Avatar: The Legend of Aang‘ will be the new Netflix production, which is expected to be available in the coming months through the streaming platform, however to please viewers they have decided to reveal what would be the first images of the actors who will give life to this adaptation.

Without a doubt, this project will be a great challenge for Netflix since it will be a live action adaptation of the Nickelodeon series, which made its debut on February 21st, 2005, receiving excellent reception from the public, which is why the faithful fans of ‘The Last Airbender‘ wait this production with high expectations.

The series is based on the journey of Aang, who is the last survivor of his nation, the Air Nomads, who is only 12 years old and is the current avatar. In addition, he has a mission, to maintain peace among the four nations, fire, earth, water, and air, and the Avatar will do everything possible to achieve it with the help of his friends.

According to the revealed images, we know that the actor Gordon Cormier will be the one who brings the Avatar to life, the airbender who was frozen for more than a century and who will fight against the fire nation, which threatens to destroy peace between nations.

Meanwhile the closest friends of the protagonist will be Kiawenti:io Tarbell who plays Katara and Ian Ousley who plays Katara’s brother, Sokka. Also one of the main characters and the villain of the story is Prince Zuko who will be interpreted by the actor Dallas Liu.

Netflix has revealed that this project will be released during the first quarter of 2024 and fans have shown their excitement on social networks to see the characters come to life in this live action adaptation of the ‘Avatar: The Legend of Aang’ series.
