La Academia de la Grabación anunció a los nominados para los Premios Grammy en su edición 63 para los mejores actos musicales y grabaciones lanzadas entre el 1 de septiembre de 2019 y el 31 de agosto de 2020 a través de una transmisión en vivo por la página web oficial de los premios. Fueron 84 categorías en total
Harvey Mason Jr., acompañado de forma remota por Gayle King de “CBS This Morning” y la copresentadora de “The Talk”, Sharon Osbourne dieron algunos nombres de los nominados. Los artistas Pepe Aguilar, Yemi Alade, Nicola Benedetti, Lauren Daigle, Mickey Guyton, Imogen Heap, Megan Thee Stallion y Dua Lipa anunciaron algunas de las categorías.
