The Seoul Music Awards, in its 35th edition, was celebrated this year by the Seoul Music Awards organizing committee. The ceremony was held on June 20 KST, at Inspire Arena in Jung District, Incheon, hosted by Sports Seoul. Severañ awards were granted this year, including one to BTS.
The night was full of euphoria over the storyline of the multi-award race. BTS received the Hallyu Special Award, showcasing their great influence in the territory with their latest musical release, “ARIRANG.”
Boynextdoor and Lee Chan Won each swept four trophies, while Zerobaseone and LE SSERAFIM each picked up three awards. The highlight of the night was the newly created “SMA Best Artist” category, introduced for the 35th anniversary and decided entirely by fan voting through the final moments of the ceremony. Ultimately, Lee Chan Won took home the honor. What an incredible night!
