This continuation will once again feature the participation of the Joker’s interpreter, Joaquin Phoenix, in addition to the performance of the singer Lady Gaga playing the love interest of this villain, Harley Queen, one of DC’s most acclaimed characters.
The new production is called ‘Joker: Folie à Deux‘ and will be a musical, the first of this genre in the superhero franchise, in addition to being directed by Todd Phillips, who was in charge of the first installment that grossed 1,074 billion USD at the box office.
After filming of the long-awaited sequel produced by Warner Bros. ended in April of this year, it was confirmed that it will be premiere on the big screen on October 4th, 2024.
