King Charles III has had to deal with several interviewers over the years because of his important role in the royal family. He has always shown himself as someone who is calm, polite, and reserved. However, there was an occasion when insulted a journalist from the BBC after being questioned about his upcoming wedding with Queen Camilla.
Charles was at the Klosters Ski Resort in the Swiss Alps doing a press shoot with Prince William and Prince Harry. After answering one of the questions, he thought that nobody was listening to him anymore and decided to insult one of the reporters. The moment was caught on camera and it is currently resurfacing online.
Nicholas Witchell, from the BBC, asked King Charles III about his feelings in regard to his upcoming nuptials. He answered that he was feeling good but then he then whispered to William and Harry: “Bloody people. I can’t bear that man. He’s so awful. He really is.”
Several royal followers explained that he must have felt stressed because the wedding was just one week away. However, Witchell revealed in 2014 that Charles never apologized for insulting him in public although Patrick Harveson, Communications Secretary to then Prince of Wales, said that he felt sorry and that it was not his intention to treat him like that.
