The kings upcoming coronation could experience some difficulties, not because of the king himself but rather because of an unexpected request from the not very beloved Queen Camilla.
Camilla Parker Bowles is one of the most polemic royal family members that the British crown has ever had, she is the current Queen Consort to King Charles III, but surprisingly enough, she is not the first wife Charles has had, nor is she the mother of the first in line to the throne, or any of Charles’ sons.
As most people already know, Charles was unfaithful to his first marriage with Princess Diana of Wales, and the third wheel was no other than Camilla, who he later married after Diana’s tragic passing in a car accident in 1997. For this reason, she does not have as many supporters in the public of the United Kingdom.
Now that she is the soon to be crowned queen, she does not want to keep a low profile, instead, she wants to wear one of the Crown’s most valuable possessions, a crown that is disputed by three other monarchies.
The crown is still a matter of debate among royals, it was manufactured in 1937 and it has more than three thousand precious stones embedded on it, from the most prestigious references, including a gigantic diamond from India.
This request has allegedly made King Charles have to run additional errands to be able to satisfy it, while also taking care of his not very favorable public image, the conflict with his two sons and the ceremony itself.
