King Charles III’s reign has been marked by tens of controversies over the last year, including his infamous cancer announcement and subsequent treatment. However, the King is on the silver linings of life and spreads the joy of conserving the environment.
The Coronation Living Heritage Fund Project, run by Wiltshire Council locally started a new project. Progress has been made to plant at least 20 community orchards throughout Wiltshire as an initiative to celebrate King Charles III’s coronation anniversary.
The fund project aims to develop green skills, including orchard maintenance and traditional tree care skills. The Wiltshire Council was awarded a £50,000 grant from the government and invited applications from those interested in taking part.
Dominic Muns, Cabinet Member of Environment explained that this exciting project has captured the imagination of those who were involved. He also explained the project pretends to leave a lasting legacy.
