Speaking on the Yoto Daily Soccer Aid Special podcast, Louis reassured fans that while they’re no longer bandmates, their friendship is still intact. “I do still know him. We’re not in a band anymore, so that’s what happens. But yeah, still good friends with him.” The rare update comes after rumors of bad blood between the two.

Harry, who snagged Grammys for Harry’s House, including Album of the Year and Best Pop Vocal Album, continues to thrive in his solo career. Louis expressed nothing but pride, saying, “Still very, very proud of him, taking over the world, definitely.” Their bond dates back to One Direction’s formation on The X Factor in 2010. While in the band, there were rumors of a relationship between the pair, though they consistently denied it.
