NewJeans rocked this year away with their latest EP, “Get Up,” which became a global phenomenon and spawned hits such as “Super Shy” and “ETA.” Their numerous feats achieved in 2023 were enough for them to perform on ABC’s “New Year’s Rockin’ Eve” to kick off 2024.
‘New Year’s Rockin’ Eve’ is America’s most-watched New Year’s Eve special program, so this was the perfect opportunity for NewJeans to give it all. Particularly, because they were the only Kpop act in this year’s performances. The girls performed at ‘Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2024.’
NewJeans know how to keep an audience entertained as they start performing “Super Shy,” where they showcase all their dancing and performing skills. On the other hand, they also wanted to show their most charismatic side, and they successfully achieved the task with their song, “ETA.” An extravagant setup and iconic looks were NewJeans’ way to say goodbye to 2023 and start a great 2024.
NewJeans work harder than ever as they also appeared on NHK’s year-end music program, “Kokahu Uta Gassen” in Japan. The girls performed a little medley of “OMG,” “ETA,” and “Ditto,” to impress the Japanese viewers. Immediately, the girl group started climbing in Japanese and worldwide music charts, and started a new amazing year trending on social media along with a “Happy New Year.”
