This new move by the girl group comes after some serious drama that began on November 13, 2024, when NewJeans served ADOR a legal notice demanding action on what they called “significant breaches” of their contracts. On November 28, the quintet hosted an emergency press conference, officially announcing their departure from ADOR after the company failed to address their concerns within the required 14-day window they provided. Despite girls’ announcements, ADOR has said they’ve remained open to talk to them and fix their issues.
