Through a recent statement, the agency behind LE SSERAFIM, Kim Chaewon, announced the suspension of her activities due to a neck injury, demonstrating the idol’s health is their priority.
On May 19th, SOURCE MUSIC shared an official notice through the girls’ group Weverse page titled ‘LE SSERAFIM Kim Chaewon Health Condition and Schedule Notice’ announcing the leader is going through health issues.
“Kim Chaewon recently received hospital treatment for neck pain and has been advised by the medical team to rest for a certain period and monitor her recovery.”
The agency continues to assure that their priority is their idols’ health, and for that reason, “we have decided that she requires sufficient rest to ensure a safe return to her activities,” following medical advice and the singer’s needs.
Due to his issues, the LE SSERAFIM member will be absent on the next promotional activities like university festivals, ‘Spotify PURE FLOWERS LIVE,’ and music shows. They also state that the idol’s future schedule will be adjusted depending on her recovery progress.
The girl group is currently promoting the release of their second full-length album, ‘PURE FLOW PART 1,’ on May 22, which was previously teased with the pre-release of the track ‘CELEBRATION’ last month, generating much expectation.
