LE SSERAFIM headlines Amazon Music’s In The Paint performance after WNBA broadcast

The group joins the music and sports series

LE SSERAFIM is bringing their celebration vibes to basketball viewers through a special edition of Amazon Music’s In The Paint. Following Prime Video‘s exclusive broadcast of the WNBA game between the Indiana Fever and the Phoenix Mercury on July 9, 2026, Amazon Music released the group’s headlining performance for the popular concert series. During the show, members Sakura, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae performed their latest single, “BOOMPALA.” The remaining member, Chaewon, was unable to take part in the filming because she was on a temporary medical hiatus while recovering from a neck injury. FEARNOT (that is the name LE SSERAFIM fans have) can also watch an exclusive performance of “SPAGHETTI” through the Amazon Music app and website.

Amazon Music described the collaboration as a natural way to connect the growing popularity of women’s basketball with one of KPop’s biggest girl groups. “Launching the WNBA edition of In the Paint is a natural next step for the series,” said Kirdis Postelle, Global Head of Content Development and Distribution at Amazon Music. “We’re always looking for new ways to connect music and sports, and with the WNBA’s popularity continuing to surge and LE SSERAFIM cementing its place as a global phenomenon, bringing the two together for this performance was a natural fit,” Postelle concluded.

The quintet recently released their second full-length album, PUREFLOW pt. 1, in May 2026, earning their fifth top 10 entry on the Billboard 200 at #10. The girl band also teamed up with fellow HYBE female groups, ILLIT and KATSEYE, for the collaborative special single “ICONIC BY MISTAKE.” Meanwhile, LE SSERAFIM will also embark on their  2026 PUREFLOW World Tour, which opens in Incheon, South Korea, on July 11, 2026. The tour includes 23 cities across Asia, North America, and Europe, marking the group’s first European concert series.
