King Charles III is back on his royal agenda after the major health scare of the last month due to inconveniences and adverse reactions to his cancer treatment. However, the King’s resilience is still his bigger treat.
On April 3, the Monarch of the United Kingdom held a reception to celebrate music in communities at Windsor Castle, organized to recognize the importance of community music. The king hosted 350 guests from the music community, many of whom volunteer and work to educate the next generation through choirs or bands.
What brought interest from the attendees was the participation of the London Vegetable Orchestra, famed as the U.K.’s only ensemble to perform with instruments made of local vegetables, which was launched a decade ago by Royal Academy of Music students. The king himself tried one of the instruments.
In a surprise scene, the King played a carrot recorder, laughing as he experimented with the vegetable instrument. The king received such a huge amount of love on Social media because of the funny interaction with the guests of the event.
