King Charles III celebrates UK-Ghana partnership on 69th Independence Anniversary

King Charles III will always be the first to make a whole celebration of a partnership with another country. This time, the Monarch of the United Kingdom is celebrating the UK-Ghana partnership on the 69th Independence Anniversary with a special message.

On March 6, King Charles III extended his warmest wishes to President John Dramani Mahama and the people of Ghana. The King highlighted the strong historical ties and partnership that have defined the relationship between the two nations over the years, as he states they have built prosperity and inspired hope.

On the occasion of your Independence Day, my wife and I send our warmest congratulations to you and to the people of the Republic of Ghana. It is with sincere appreciation that I reflect upon the enduring partnership between our nations, rooted in the shared values and mutual respect that define our Commonwealth.”

The UK-Ghana partnership is more alive than ever, as Prince Edward visited Accra in November last year, highlighting the long-standing ties and warm hospitality shown by Ghanaians.
