King Charles III and the late Queen Elizabeth II’s bond was something to admire, Even through the rough years during the now-king’s youth, they proved to be a great example of a mother-son relationship. The king wants to keep his mother’s memory alive by approving four “In Memoriam” stamps.

These are the first stamp images to be approved by the King and all four stamp feature images previously used in the 2002 Golden Jubilee stamp issue. One of them includes a second-class stamp featuring a photograph taken by Dorothy Wilding in 1952 to mark the queen’s ascension to the British throne.

The four stamps come in a presentation pack that will retail at $8.85 and are already available to pre-order until they are released for general sale on November 10. The royal followers appreciated the king’s intentions to keep the queen’s memory alive among those who loved her until the very last day.

Undoubtedly, King Charles III is working hard to reign the monarchy from bed, he has proved to be a worthy successor of the throne. Despite the king not fulfilling his public-facing meetings, he is behind the curtains making sure the British monarchy is going well.
