KATSEYE announces WILD HEARTS film before their new EP release

The group's first cinema project will give fans an exclusive look at their journey before the release of WILD

KATSEYE is getting ready to meet fans on the big screen with the release of WILD HEARTS, a special cinema event scheduled for August 12, 2026. The movie will arrive just two days before the quintet’s (Manon remains on hiatus) new EP, WILD, which is scheduled for release on August 14, 2026. The project has already been introduced through the techno-pop single “Pinky Up,” building anticipation for KATSEYE’s latest era. Designed as a celebration for EYEKONS, the film offers fans an exclusive opportunity to learn more about girl group’s journey while looking ahead to their upcoming music and world tour.

WILD HEARTS will show previously unseen footage, videos submitted by fans, and personal moments filmed by the five members themselves. The documentary follows KATSEYE from the intense competition of POP STAR ACADEMY to their rise as one of pop music’s breakthrough acts. It highlights important victories, personal challenges, and the experiences that helped shape the girlband’s career so far. The project was directed by Nadia Hallgren and produced by Interscope Films, Boardwalk Pictures, and HYBE x Geffen, the same team behind Netflix’s POP STAR ACADEMY.

Following the film and EP release, KATSEYE will embark on their Wildworld Tour on September 1, 2026, in Dublin, Ireland. The tour will include 27 concerts before ending in Mexico City on November 27, 2026. Trafalgar Releasing described the film as a celebration of the strong connection between KATSEYE and EYEKONS, recognizing the fans who have supported the quintet’s growth since its formation.

“We are excited to bring the fandom together in theaters around the world for a shared, immersive experience,” Kymberli said.
