KATSEYE’s latest single “Animal” keeps making moves on the Billboard Hot 100 chart! The Ed Sheeran-assisted hit ranks #30 on the chart after moving up five positions from the previous week. The tune was dropped as a pre-release track ahead of KATSEYE’s third EP, “Wild,” which arrived on August 14, 2026. “Animal” originally debuted and peaked at #24 on the Hot 100, giving KATSEYE one of their strongest hits on the most important American chart.
The song has also performed well internationally. “Animal” debuted at #5 on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global chart, marking the group’s highest debut on that ranking. On Billboard’s Global 200 chart dated August 22, 2026, the song reached #16. It also placed at #19 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart.

As of now, KATSEYE is promoting “Wild” with four members after Sophia announced on August 7, 2026, that she would temporarily step away for mental health and wellness reasons. Similarly, Manon was also put on hiatus on February 20 for her personal health and well-being. While working as a quartet, the girl group has received recognition at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards thanks to “Pinky Up,” which earned nominations for Best K-pop and Best Choreography.
