KATSEYE is heading to Australia for the first time, and the girlband’s visit will include a special fan event in Sydney on May 6, 2026. EYEKONS (that is the name KATSEYE fans wear proudly) will have the chance to attend an exclusive Q&A session as part of the celebration. Universal Music Australia is running a contest connected to the event, giving one winner flights, accommodation, and a double pass to the Sydney experience. Then, another 29 runners-up will also be given double passes to the session.
The announcement comes during a very busy period for the girl group. KATSEYE recently released their latest track, “Pinky Up,” and performed during the first weekend of Coachella. After that, the group confirmed that their new EP WILD will be released on August 14, 2026, through HYBE x Geffen Records. According to the official description, the project will have a total of five tracks, with “Pinky Up” serving as the pre-release song.
WILD will be KATSEYE’s first EP since Beautiful Chaos, which gave fans hits like the viral and divisive “Gnarly” and the Latin-pop-infused track “Gabriela.” The new release also arrives during an intriguing period for the group, following the announcement that Manon is on hiatus to focus on her health and well-being. The 22-year-old Swiss member was not seen in the “Pinky Up” video released on April 9, 2026, and did not perform at Coachella. Meanwhile, KATSEYE is also scheduled to return for Coachella weekend two on April 17, 2026, yet Manon is not expected to perform with the girl group once again.
