During her appearance on the SmartLess podcast, singer and actress Selena Gomez confessed, “I’m tired“, announcing that her next album will be her last as she has other plans for her life, such as acting or the intention of starting a nice family to share with as she gets older.
Selena revealed: “I always wanted to be an actress; I never intended to be a full-time singer, but fate made that ‘hobby’ something much bigger“. She also added, “I want to relax because I’m tired; that’s why I think I only have one music album left“.

As revealed by Variety, Gomez confessed: “I don’t feel like I’m the best singer, but I’m really good at telling stories through my music, and although I have to admit that touring was the coolest thing, I always liked starring as a character on screen more“, which makes it clear what the 31-year-old actress’s true interests are.
Life in the entertainment industry is often very exhausting both physically and mentally, as it is very demanding, so the singer added that she has a very different perspective on life now: “I’m getting older and older; I can no longer juggle between music and acting; I would like to focus on something and form a stable home“.
