It is no secret that “King of the Land,” streamable on Netflix in the West, had a long run in the first spots of the Top 10 Global ranking the streaming service has. South Korean series certainly have become widely popular at this point and some even state, and that is especially true for King of the Land, which has a very interesting predecessor you might want to watch.

This time we will be telling you about “Just Between Lovers,” which runs for a total of 16 episodes and might be right up your ally. The reason? Well, this Netflix series is starred by no other than Lee Jun-ho, who was also part of the cast in King of the Land. Lee Jun-ho’s career might have taken off thanks to the widely successful King of the Land, but he has also participated in other top-notch South Korean productions you could also enjoy.

This is the case of “Just Between Lovers” (2017), which an earlier stage of Lee Jun-ho’s acting career, as he was just 27 years old when he took part in this series.

In Just Between Lovers, he played a lonely and violent young man named Lee Kang-doo, who was able to survive an accident at a shopping mall. The character was perfectly portrayed by Jun-ho with, who had nothing but spotlights shining on him due to his impeccable and complex performance of Kang-doo.

If you are interested in learning more about the less luxurious or glamorous side of the South Korean society, you are certainly going to enjoy this Netflix series. If you add that up to you liking “King of the Land” and Lee Jun-ho, then this K-Drama has the perfect mix for you!
