Through a receficial notice, it was revealed leader Gunil leaves Xdinary Heroes and JYP Entertainment after allegedly insulting fans.
On August 13th, the agency behind the boy group took fans by surprise by releasing a message to update fans about the upcoming participation of their leader in future activities following rumours of him bad-mouthing his group’s fans.
JYP addressed the controversy, recognising “the gravity of the situation”, and revealed that after discussions with the artist, they have “determined that it is no longer feasible to continue team activities together, and we have mutually agreed to terminate the exclusive contract.”

“Accordingly, we hereby inform you that Gunil has withdrawn from Xdinary Heroes effective today and concluded his team activities.”
They concluded the message apologising for causing concern to the fans and state that they will continue giving their full support to the new 5-member group to continue their activities without setbacks.
