During a recent live stream, ENHYPEN‘s Jungwon addresses fan disputes over the group’s member lineup, opening up about the group reality after Heeseung‘s departure.

On July 9th, the K-Pop idol went live with the intention of sincerely speaking with fans about the change they have faced as a group and how there are some fans who keep denying who they are now, bringing out with confusion the number of members.

“Of course, I understand how people who loved ENHYPEN in the past feel. But now, ENHYPEN are six members, everyone. ENHYPEN is six. I understand why some people still do those fan chants at concerts too, because we never clearly talked about it before.”

Jungwon blames himself for not addressing the issue clearly from the beginning and expresses his discomfort with seeing fans arguing about the lineup, assuring that “It also disrupts the concerts a lot, to be honest.”

“So from now on, if someone keeps encouraging those kinds of arguments, I don’t think I’ll consider them a fan.”

He finally said he is speaking as the leader of the group on behalf of the members after talking with them, and they all feel the same: “The other five members think the same too. So I sincerely hope this won’t happen anymore.”

In March 2026, ENHYPEN’s agency announced the departure of its member Heeseung to pursue a solo career 5 years after their debut, leaving them as a 6-member group.
