During BTS‘ recent live stream, RM shares a military story about giving his card for snacks but getting a 660,000 KRW, approximately 440 USD, bill, taking fans by surprise with the shocking details of this event.
On May 19th, the boys went live through Weverse to interact with fans and answer their questions. They also took the opportunity to share some military stories, which made ARMYs laugh and debate on social networks.
Amid their talk, the leader starts telling them that once he gave his bank card to the trainees so they could buy snacks from the military base convenience store, but they bought too much stuff, causing problems with the payment machine.
“They ended up spending nearly 660,000 won. They bought things like snail extract serum and daily essentials, to the point that the payment machine broke down from all the purchases.”

RM continued revealing that because it was the first time the machine had broken down, the unit commander called him to ask him what happened. “I told him I was just buying them some snacks, but it turned out later that they had also bought stuff for their parents” with more than 100 items for each of them.
The BTS members conclude by revealing that after the incident the trainees involved “bowed and apologized for what happened” and made his member laugh, joking about the snail serum being a bit over the top for this purchase.
