BTS’ Jimin and Song Da Eun have become the talk of the town after the two were swept up in dating rumors. The actress posted a TikTok video on August 27, showing her waiting for Jimin to come up the elevator and surprising him. However, the rumors got out of control.
On August 31, BTS’ Jimin’s music agency, BigHit Music, released an official statement via press to clear the air about Jimin’s recent dating rumors. The company stated it had had enough of the unfounded rumors.
In addition, BigHit Music confirmed Song Da Eun and Jimin had a previous relationship, but it ended several years ago, and they are not in a relationship at present. The company politely asked fans to respect Jimin’s privacy. Read the full statement below:

Out of respect for the privacy of Jimin and the other party involved, we had not put out a statement.
However, as many speculative reports and false rumors surrounding Jimin’s private life arose, we felt that it was necessary to present the facts with regards to the matter.
Jimin and the other party involved were interested in each other and were in a relationship, but the relationship ended several years ago, and they are not in a relationship at present.
We ask that you refrain from making careless speculation that violates the privacy of the parties involved, and sincerely request that you refrain from any action that may cause harm to our artist and the other party involved.”
