aespa is still making huge waves in South Korea after releasing their popular song, “Rich Man.” The energetic song has taken over several charts across the globe, including the South Korean music program circuits, just like Music Core.
On September 20, a new episode of MBC’s Show! Music Core was broadcast with a fresh and exciting lineup of performances from legends to rookies of the Kpop scene. JUNHEE, Youngbin, Chase Eun Jung, PRIMROSE, NCT’s Haechan, CORTIS, LUN8, and PLAVE, among other amazing acts, took over the stage to make incredible performances of their new songs.
When the broadcast was about to conclude, the hosts took over the stage to announce the candidates for the first place of the week. NCT’s Haechan’s “CRZY,” IVE’s “XOXZ,” and aespa’s “Rich Man” were all competing, but there was just one winner.
The 1st place trophy went to aespa’s Rich Man, scoring a total of 6423 points for leading in the “Digital & Album” and “Video & Broadcast” categories. Congratulations to the girls on their third win in the show!
