When the general public thinks about which Kdrama devoured the competition during 2023, they often think of “King The Land.” The extraordinary series earned thousands of Netizen’s hearts because of their lovely and intense story that ultimately led to becoming the most-awarded K-drama in the 2023 APAN Star Awards.
The heartfelt series starring Lee Junho and YoonA was heaped with praise both from the general public and critics. Their acting skills were highlighted as one of the best in the acting industry and it is proven during the awards season.
The Korea Entertainment Management Association held the APAN Star Awards to celebrate the past year in K-Dramas broadcasted in KBS, MBC, SBS, tvN, JTBC, OCN, MBN, and TV Chosun from October of the previous year to September of the current year.
“King The Land” won five awards during the 9th APAN Star Awards, where Lee Junho won, Best Character Award, Popularity Star Award, and Best Couple along with YoonA, and Best Actor (Grand Prize). In addition, Lee Junho also was honored with the Global Star Award. Also, YoonA won the Popularity Star Award (Female).
