Recently it was made known that there was a possibility of a third season of the Loki series, the series that tells us about Thor’s brother and his adventures, but this note is not about him and the attention that Disney is giving him, but about the God himself who is now in option to be in a new movie.
Another of the rumors heard about Thor, is that its director (or at least the last 2 films), Taika Waititi, would not be committed to the project, as he will not continue, and even said, that he was there from the beginning due to pure monetary interest.
Thor: Rumors of a new movie increase
When the rumors of a new movie began and that Taika would not be integrated, they did not hesitate to look for a replacement and this would be Gareth Edwards, who responded to these comments and resolved some doubts. In a recent interview, the film director acknowledged that he was surprised to learn of the rumors about Thor 5 and confirmed that so far no one has contacted him.
“I saw those rumors too. I saw it and jokingly sent it to my girlfriend. I texted her the link and said, ‘I didn’t want you to hear about it this way,'” Edwards expressed. “I’ve never heard anything about it. The Internet is an amazing place,” added the director.
Let’s remember that the last 2 Thor movies had a much more humorous approach, respecting Taika Waititi’s vibe, but let’s remember that in the end it’s a studio movie where he doesn’t have all the creative freedom he would like.
