On December 5th, the four BTS members gathered for a pre-enlistment live broadcast showing hair transformations. The first noticeable change was V‘s, who explained that he just lowered his hair a bit and didn’t shave it completely because he still has some commitments to fulfill.

Jimin and RM seemed to have no updates about their haircuts; however, Jungkook showed a suspicious attitude during the broadcast as he was wearing a hooded cap, but after a few minutes of conversation about what they should do before enlisting, the Maknae revealed that the length of his hair was shorter than everyone thought.
Afterwards, the other BTS members made jokes about how short Jungkook’s hair is nowadays; even RM confessed, “It’s really shocking; even mine is longer“, this caused a lot of curiosity among fans who were longing to finally see him.
Jimin read a message from a fan asking Jungkook to reveal his haircut, but the idol refused all the time. Yet just as the broadcast was about to end, the camera managed to briefly catch JK without the cap, exposing his shaved head. The moment was so fast that only a few viewers witnessed the moment.
