Efron and Perry collaborated on the 2009 comedy “17 Again,” in which Efron played the younger version of Mike O’Donnell, Perry’s character, a 37-year-old father looking to rewrite his life at 17.

“I was very honored,” Efron told Extra TV at the Dallas premiere of his upcoming film “The Iron Claw” on Wednesday.

“It would be extraordinary and, of course, I’m still really devastated that he’s gone. Yeah, we’ll see what happens,” he added.

Recall that recently, Athenna Crosby, commented on one of the interests that Perry might have about him and his struggle.

He said he wanted to make a movie about his life, that he had worked with Zac Efron in the past on a movie and that he wanted him to play a younger version of him in a promising biopic about his life and that he would be asking him soon,” she told Entertainment Tonight.
