BTS’ Jin is one of the most beloved members of the group, not only because of his undeniable talent but for his amazing aura and charisma. The idol enlisted in the army nearly eleven months ago, and he already earned his fellow soldier’s hearts solely with his personality.
Despite the lack of updates for Jin’s fans, better known as the ARMY, they have had a few glimpses of his life as a soldier. For example, in a recent post on an online community under the name of “The OP,” numerous details about Jin’s current situation were shared.
On November 8, the ARMY was surprised after they found a post titled, “Pretty Jin Who Buys Us Food” and immediately became viral among the K-Netizens. “The OP” claimed to be a relative of a fellow soldier of Jin. The post started by announcing his nephew finished his military service and talked about his nephew’s experience with Jin.
He stated that Jin regularly buys food for everyone in his unit, particularly for his much younger fellow soldiers from food trucks every weekend. He expressed that his nephew watched food trucks come on weekends, about 15 portions.
The post continued by showing credibility as “The OP” shared a photo of them attending the completion ceremony. The fellow soldiers named Jin “Pretty Jin Who Buys Us Food” because of his kind gestures to everyone. The nickname comes from a K-drama, “Something in the Rain,” which is titled Pretty Noona Who Buys Me Food in the Korean language.
Undoubtedly, BTS Jin has had such a journey in the military, as he is serving as an assistant instructor in the Fifth Infantry Division in Yeoncheon. He previously became a Special Class Warrior because of his phenomenal physical prowess. The idol is expected to be discharged from service on June 12, 2024, and surely, he is going to share his experience as soon as he leaves the army.
