Matthew Perry passed away, causing many people to be completely shocked. If the audience that grew up with the series was very sad, it is unimaginable the pain that family, friends and yes, the Friends cast members who were by his side for many years, making the whole production extremely iconic, would be feeling. Now, that same cast has reacted to the terrible news.

According to CNN, actor Matthew Perry, who gained fame and a prominent place in pop culture by playing Chandler Bing in the series “Friends,” passed away this Saturday, October 28 at the age of 54.

The coroner’s form has not yet provided information on the actor’s cause of death. The passing has sent shockwaves through the entertainment world and numerous public figures have expressed their reaction to the news, including some of his Friends co-stars.

The official ‘Friends’ Instagram account posted a heartfelt condolence:

“We are devastated by the news of Matthew Perry’s passing. He was a true gift to all of us. Our hearts go out to his family, loved ones and all his fans.”

Similarly, NBC has expressed itself with a text:

“We are deeply saddened by the untimely passing of Matthew Perry. He brought joy to hundreds of millions of people around the world with his perfect sense of comedy and wry wit. His legacy will live on for countless generations.
