There are few horror films that manage to scare, or even traumatize, but when they do, they mark an entire generation and become films that are difficult to forget.

When one thinks of horror, classic titles such as The Exorcist or Halloween come to mind, but there are others that we can even find on streaming sites that will undoubtedly be the nightmare that will steal your sleep for several days.

The movie that will be recommended today is so intense, that even the master and horror writer Stephen King has recommended it and it is not for more, this movie is like watching your nightmares on screen.

It is The Descent and it is a horror movie that is available through the streaming platform Prime Video, so you can watch it right now.

Six friends meet on a remote mountain to embark on a spelunking expedition. Juno, who leads the group is tough, persuasive and dangerous. The others are half-sisters Rebecca and Sam, Holly and Beth, an English teacher who reluctantly goes along to look after Sarah. Sarah is recovering from a mental breakdown caused by the death of her husband and son a year earlier. The group becomes trapped in a cave when a rock breaks loose and blocks the exit. As they search for another way out in the middle of a maze of tunnels, they are pursued by a race of hungry predators…-Notes the synopsis.

The film is a 2005 production that as soon as it came out became a favorite of the genre, as it has such a visceral terror that will undoubtedly give you nightmares, so it is a great option to recommend with your friends when you make a night of movies and horror stories for this Halloween.
