‘Anyone But You‘ is a new romantic film from the director of ‘Friends with Benefits’, which will star Glen Powell and Sydney Sweeney, although there is not much information about this story, the images revealed from the recording set captured the attention of many viewers.
One of the reasons that generated much more interest was the chemistry that could be noticed between the main actors of this film, so much so that a rumor started about these actors actually having a secret romance, which, although it is nothing official, has not been denied either.
Although there is still no official synopsis about this film or confirmation of the release date, we know that the production has already managed to finish the recordings, so it is understood that it is only a matter of time before the production share some previews and new information regarding the movie.
At CinemaCon, some details were revealed, such as that it will be a “free and modern” adaptation of ‘Much Ado About Nothing‘, a work by William Sheakespeare, of which it was also revealed that it will be an “enemies to lovers” comedy, and thanks to the leaked trailer we know a little more about its story.
Apparently it will tell the story of two people who hated each other in the past and meet again many years later to attend a wedding, in which they pretend to be a couple, but little by little they truly fall madly in love with each other, it will be classified R, this is because it contains a lot of nudity.
During an audience at CinemaCon, some actors shared their opinion, Powell mentioned the following: “Sydney plays a character who is a real nightmare“, while Sweeney said: “What better place to put a real nightmare and a idiot than in the most romantic setting imaginable?”
