The winner of the contest will represent the number one world power in the next Miss Universe 2023, which will take place next November 18 in the city of San Salvador, El Salvador. Two of the most favored candidates for the crown are from Colombia and Venezuela, and they are ready to fight for the crown.

Miss Utah is Noelia Voigt, a beautiful 22-year-old who was born in the United States, but has a Venezuelan mother and is proud of her Latin roots.

“I am honored to be the first Venezuelan-American woman to hold the title of Miss Utah USA, I am really looking forward to breaking barriers and bridging the gap between communities by being able to speak Spanish and connect with the large Hispanic population in Utah.”

Lluvia Alzeta, who was crowned Miss Texas, will participate in Miss USA 2023. The model’s family is Colombian, so both she and Noelia will be looking to win.

U.S. crown could stay in Latin America
