Meghan Markle and Prince Harry got married in 2018 and although their relationship has not been easy due to all the controversies, the royal couple has been able to build a beautiful family. However, Meghan is allegedly very frustrated with a habit that Prince Harry inherited from King Charles III.
A few years ago, the ‘Prince, Son, and Heir: Charles at 70’ documentary was released to celebrate his 70th birthday. During the film, it was revealed that Charles is obsessed with turning off the lights in rooms that are not being used regardless of the time of the day to take care of the environment.
In the same vein, the Duke of Sussex also revealed in an interview that he inherited this same habit from Charles himself. However, Meghan feels frustrated because she does not understand why he turns all the lights off even if it is already dark outside.
“He’s a stickler for turning lights off, and that’s now something that I’m obsessed with as well, which is insane because actually, my wife goes ‘Well, why turn the lights off? You know it’s dark’. I go ‘we only need one light, we don’t need like six’, and all of a sudden, it becomes a habit, and that small habit changes he’s making, every single person can do. And I think that’s one of the key lessons certainly that I felt that he taught us.”
It looks like Prince Harry is also committed to taking care of the environment just like his father promised that he would do during his reign. On top of that, many royal followers believe that the preservation of the environment is a highly important matter and they do not understand why Meghan Markle is bothered by this.
