TXT’s Soobin is a huge fan of the American singer-songwriter Bebe Rexha. For years, he has let everyone know how much he admires her. They had previously met through a live broadcast in 2020 but unfortunately they haven’t had the chance to meet in person until now.
Fans have been waiting for the two artists to collaborate on a song for a while. Bebe addressed this and explained on Twitter that communication between her label and BIGHIT MUSIC was a little complex. The K-Pop idol has also tried to meet the American artist several times with no success.
One of the many attempts was the 2022 American Music Awards which were held in November of that year. Both artists attended the ceremony but since the boyband had to travel the next day, it was not possible to meet. Luckily, Soobin had the chance to come back to the United States along with TXT. The group performed on ‘The Late Late Show’ with James Corden this week and Bebe immediately found out about this.
She tried to call Soobin but he could not answer the call. She shared a screenshot of a failed FaceTime call through Twitter and the tagged the official TXT account. Fans alerted the band of what she had done and a few hours later, Bebe shared a video through TikTok and Twitter dancing her song ‘Heart Wants What It Wants’ with Soobin and both looking happier than ever.
