GOT7 talks about their future as a group, are they officially disbanding?

GOT7 turned eight years old and the seven idols that make it up surprised their fandom by connecting to a joint live broadcast. The K-pop superstars also marked one year since departing from their parent agency, JYP, so the detail was particularly meaningful to fans.

The Instagram live broadcast kicked off with leader JAY B alongside Jinyoung, who are fully dedicated to music and acting in South Korea, respectively.

Soon after, they were joined by BamBam, Youngjae, and maknae Yugyeom, who were together in another location in the aforementioned country. The rappers of the group did not miss the event.

From his native China, Jackson Wang joined facetime, even though he was on schedule.

Later, Mark Tuan connected to the video call and all together greeted with the motto “come and get it“. The boys talked about many things, but without a doubt what resonated the most among the fans is their comeback as a group and their possible official disbandment.

But their fans were relieved when they heard that the group will not be disbanding and are even planning to do something together in the future.

Recall that all the members of GOT7 left JYP Entertainment in January 2021, after the end of the exclusive contract that linked them to the company since their debut in 2014.

However, the group is not disbanding. Currently, the members are dedicating themselves to their solo careers and have promised their fans a group comeback in the future.
