King Charles III is currently spending his summer break at Balmoral, out of the public eye. However, the King will be resuming his royal duties in the upcoming weeks, including a brand-new trip to The Bahamas and Antigua and Barbuda. Get to know why!
On September 4, Buckingham Palace has confirmed the King and Queen Camilla Parker will embark on the Autumn Tour from October 27 through November 4, 2026. The King will begin with a Royal Visit to The Bahamas, where he is Head of State, ahead of this year’s Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting.
Then, the King will be visiting Antigua and Barbuda to fulfill his royal duties as he is also Head of State. Ultimately, the trip will conclude with a visit to Guyana, as part of an invitation from the President of Guyana, Irfaan Ali, and at the request of the UK Government as part of the 60th anniversary of bilateral relations between Guyana and the United Kingdom. What a packed agenda the King will have over the next few months!
