However, Chaeyoung made it clear that her exit from JYP Entertainment does not mean she is leaving TWICE, and she plans to continue participating in the group’s activities.

The announcement surprised many fans, as it came only days after fellow TWICE member Jeongyeon confirmed her own departure from JYP Entertainment on August 10, 2026.
