Through a recent interview, IVE‘s Jang Wonyoung reveals the reason why she takes an hour-long shower as the first thing she does after concerts during the girl group’s current tour.
On August 11th, the K-Pop idol shared a new video on the IVE YouTube channel making the ‘Dive’s lying-down interview’, where she answered fans’ questions relaxed on a hotel bed after her concert in Montreal, where she had a great time with fans.
The first question was if she has her own post-concert routine, to which she revealed that despite it being exhausting, her priority after a show is to have a cleansing ritual to have a bodily and mental reset and, surely, a proper rest.
“Once I get to the hotel, I immediately do a thorough cleansing and then shower for about an hour.”
Jang Wonyoung emphasised the importance of cleaning her body, including multiple rounds of washing and scrubbing; she even admitted that lying down before a shower is unusual for her, but she made an exception for this special interview demonstrating her love for fans.
The IVE member revealed that she is not that kind of idol that can eat after the show because she needs to conclude her bath routine to think about eating, use her phone or do other activities; however, she shares hope to be more relaxed with this routine in the future to be able to enjoy her time fully without feeling overwhelmed.
