Through a recent update, the agency behind Seungmin revealed he limited his participation in Stray Kids‘ schedule amid health issues while following medical advice.

A few weeks ago, JYPE announced the K-pop idol “was diagnosed with a stress fracture in his left ankle” back in March, for which he has been receiving ongoing treatment and avoiding strenuous physical activities to have a full recovery.

On July 2nd, the agency shared an update on Seungmin’s health and schedule, revealing that his participation in filmed content for their comeback with ‘RUN IT’ was adjusted due to his recovery status:

“While he was unable to participate in some filming, his involvement in others was kept to a minimum. As a result, his appearance in some upcoming content may be limited.”

They continue expressing that despite the idol desire to continue participating in activities with the group, they have decided the main priority is his full recovery for his soon return and assuring they “will continue to prioritize Seungmin’s health and recovery”.
