NCT Wish member Jaehee and Hearts2Hearts member Yuha have joined forces for a new soundtrack project. On July 3, 2026, SM Entertainment announced that the two KPop stars recorded the song “Open Your Eyes” for the animated film Teenieping: Legend of the Whale Heartstone. The movie is scheduled to open in theaters on August 5, 2026.
SM Entertainment also released a behind-the-scenes video showing Jaehee and Yuha recording the track in the studio. The clip gives fans a closer look at the emotional journey of the protagonist and a newly introduced character opening up to each other and overcoming hardships together. The film serves as the sequel to Heartsping: Teenieping of Love, which was adapted from the popular Korean animated series that debuted in 2024. With this new soundtrack, two rising artists from rookie KPop groups are showing a new side of themselves with versatility in the animation world.
