ILLIT is preparing for another round of performances in Japan with scheduled appearances at several high-profile music festivals. On June 17, 2026, BELIFT LAB announced that the quintet would appear on Fuji TV’s live broadcast of the “2026 FNS Music Festival Summer” on July 1. The long-running music special brings together artists who have achieved success in the Japanese market and features performances accompanied by live bands. This invitation marks ILLIT’s third appearance on the program, following the girl group’s participation in year-end specials in both 2024 and 2025.

For this year’s edition, ILLIT will take part in a special collaboration performance alongside Japanese girl group CUTIE STREET. The two acts plan to perform each other’s hit songs, giving the public fresh reinterpretations of their tracks and showcasing their chemistry. This international announcement comes shortly after the five-member team released their mini-album “MAMIHLAPINATAPAI,” featuring the high-energy dance-pop track “It’s Me.” 
In addition, the group’s Japanese promotions will continue throughout the summer. ILLIT is scheduled to perform at Fuji TV’s Mezamashi Wangan Festival in Tokyo on August 4, 2026, followed by an appearance at LuckyFes 2026 on August 9 at Hitachi Seaside Park. Finally, the girl band will also release the digital version of their second Japanese single, “I Got Your Back,” on July 26, with the physical variant coming on July 29.
