Recent reports revealed that Sabrina Carpenter gets a restraining order against a stalker who attempted to break into her home and continues to display an unhealthy obsession with her.

New reports emerge revealing that the singer requested a full restraining order against William Applegate, whom she accuses of attempting to break into her Los Angeles home last month and having returned on two more occasions.

Sabrina Carpenter claimed that these threats to her privacy and security have generated “significant and ongoing fear.” She even wrote a declaration exposing that the man’s “pattern of stalking, trespassing, and surveillance has caused me severe and ongoing emotional distress.”

According to her legal declaration, the man appeared at her home uninvited on May 23rd, where he tried to break in and refused to leave when her security confronted him, claiming he knew the star and that she was waiting for him.

Afterwards, he attempted to get into her neighbor’s property, ringing the doorbell and refusing to leave until the police arrived to arrest him. Less than 24 hours later, he returned and loitered outside her house for hours; the next day he was back once again and parked outside her home.

Carpenter claimed that his attempt to get into her house “is among the most disturbing violations of personal safety and privacy I have ever experienced,” so she reunited the evidence and asked the court for a restraining order to protect her, her sister, and her sister’s partner living with her.

On May 29th, a judge temporarily granted the request, which ordered the man to stay at least 100 yards from the singer but also her home, her car, her workplace, and the other residents. The next court hearing is set for 17 June.
