On social networks, a Korean restaurant is under fire for eating BTS Jungkook‘s leftovers, sparking outrage among fans worldwide who defend the idol.

On May 31st, the K-pop idol shared stories revealing he was visiting a teppanyaki restaurant at Itaewon Teppan, with videos of the table full of food, drawing the attention of fans who took these images as a recommendation from the idol.

Later, the owner of the restaurant shared through its official Instagram account that Jungkook even left behind a signed autograph expressing his gratitude; however, the next video regarding the singer’s visit was not well received among fans.

It was a video showing one staff member allegedly eating food left behind by the BTS member, accompanied by the caption, “Why are you eating Jungkook’s leftovers?”, going quickly viral and generating negative reactions from fans.

On social networks, ARMYs pointed out the Golden Maknae’s support for the restaurant and accused the staff’s actions of crossing his personal boundaries and disrespecting him with comments like the following:

“Sick, that is not fan doing; that is disrespect. World is going crazy completely.” “if Jungkook ever sees this, I can’t imagine how uncomfortable it might make him feel 💔☹️,” “And he even kindly left an autograph… that’s so disrespectful to Jungkook.”
