In recent reports, the agency behind TWICE‘s Dahyun confirmed she made a 30 million KRW donation to leukemia patients on her birthday moving all fans with her big heart.
On June 1st, JYP Entertainment made a statement announcing “To commemorate her birthday on the 28 of last month, Dahyun donated 30 million KRW (~19,825 USD) to the Ulsan Community Chest of Korea” used for medical expenses to support patients with financial difficulties.
For her part, Dahyun express his intentions to repay all the support he receives from his fans with this help: “I wanted to share the love that I have received. I hope my heart can be a small source of strength and comfort to those receiving treatment”
Previously, the TWICE member has demostrate her kind heart with meaningful donations like when she donated 50 million KRW to the COVID-19 special fundraising, 50 million KRW to support Ulsan wildfire relief, and 200 million won alongside her members to the earthquake in Turkey.
Dahyun gradually returns to ‘THIS IS FOR’ tour after injury
In february this year, the idol was diagnosed with an ankle fracture and announce she will be taking a pause to focus on her recovery. At the end of April the singer return, however her current participation remains limited, she even revealed that the injury still causes her pain when she walks a lot.
