ENHYPEN‘s leader, Jungwon, is constantly cheering up the boy band, and that might be why the idols have endured over the years as a solid Kpop act in the music industry. The idol is ready to talk about the challenges they will face in the upcoming chapters of their career.

On May 30, Jungwon appeared as the 40th guest on Lee Young Ji’s YouTube show “I Have Nothing To Show.” The idol directly addressed the status of ENHYPEN’s contract renewals and the team’s existence moving forward

“Last year, when we received the ‘Daesang’ at the ‘MAMA Awards’, Super Junior sunbaenims received an award right before our performance. They said, ‘We used to think that receiving awards and recognition was important in our careers. But it turns out, the most important thing is to protect the team for as long as possible’. Thinking about those words now, I think they were right. In the end, what matters is surviving.”

What really shocked me most about Jungwon’s words was his emphasis on talking about there’s no him without ENHYPEN. Fans and K-Netizens praised Jungwon’s commitment to the group, and they are completely calm, knowing that Jungwon will do the impossible to preserve ENHYPEN’s legacy.
