During a recent live stream, BTSRM revealed that ‘Body To Body‘ was originally a very sexual song, shocking fans with the details of the first version of this first song of their album.

On May 28th, the leader of the boy group went live through Weverse to have intimate interactions with fans amid their busy tour schedule, where he took the opportunity to talk about every song of their new album ‘ARIRANG,’ sharing more details of their creation.

When talking about the first song of the album, ‘Body To Body,’ RM revealed that it “was originally supposed to be titled ‘Body on Body,'” with lyrics that evoke a “very sexual nuance” and bodies overlapping.

The rapper also explained that it shouldn’t be strange that they released this type of song since they are in their 30s, but he said, “I just felt that putting out a highly sexual song right now without a clear reason wasn’t the right direction for us.”

For that reason, he took inspiration from the 1988 Seoul Olympics ‘Hand in Hand’ by Koreana, so he said he “shifted the concept to ‘Body to Body,’ playing on the idea of holding onto each other’s bodies instead of just hands.”
