In recent days, a close source claimed that Princess Charlotte is following in Kate Middleton‘s footsteps with this musical hobby, which has royal supporters excited.
With the passage of time, many have noticed the princess of Wales and her daughter have many similar characteristics, like their fashion and love for animals, but it apparently extends to their musical talents, too, due to recent declarations.
In conversations with Hello!, pianist Lang Lang revealed that Kate Middleton recently told him that Princess Charlotte has taken up piano. Due to the strong influence of her mother, the musician did not doubt praising the young princess’s talent.
“We talked about Charlotte. Her royal highness talked about Charlotte’s piano playing; I’m sure she’s good.”
In addition, the pianist revealed how the future queen used him as a reference for her daughter: “Her royal highness said to me that she said to Princess Charlotte, ‘Hey, look, if you practice a lot, you can be like him.'”
Previously, Kate Middleton and Princess Charlotte played a surprise piano duet for the Christmas carol service in December 2025, demonstrating their incredible mother-and-daughter chemistry and talent for music.
